H3: Responsibilities and Qualifications

As a Child Support Officer II, you will conduct detailed investigations, assist in establishing paternity, obtain court orders for financial support and health care coverage, and enforce child support orders. You will also respond to customer inquiries, collaborate with state agencies and community organizations, and maintain current knowledge of child support policies and procedures.

To qualify for this position, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent, and a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred. Experience in child support, legal assistance, investigative work, or customer service may be substituted for the required education. You must also have strong communication, organizational, and decision-making skills, and be able to work collaboratively in a professional office environment.
