Job Title: Legal Process Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

1. Project Management and Process Improvement in Pricing and Budgeting
- Develop and execute specific pricing strategies by analyzing historical data and designing budget models.
- Collaborate with Legal Data, Costing, and Reporting groups to deliver effective client proposals.
- Act as a central link between attorneys, clients, and internal operations by translating legal services into clear statements of work and stakeholder analyses.
- Implement innovative fee arrangements and task-based billing plans to monitor performance metrics and enhance workflow efficiency.

2. Marketing, Training, and Practice Group Coordination
- Work with attorneys and marketing teams to create compelling client-focused proposals and collateral.
- Promote firm-wide adoption of pricing and innovation tools through presentations, targeted training, and creating reusable resources.

3. Client Solutions Group Coordination
- Develop financial tools to track budgets and monitor matters for clients’ Legal Operations teams.
- Collaborate with firm leaders and the Marketing & Business Development team to uncover strategic insights and shape client-focused pricing strategies.

4. Other Duties
- Perform additional tasks or projects as assigned.

Education and Experience Information:

- A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is required; an advanced degree or professional certification is preferred.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in legal pricing, financial analysis, or a related field is necessary.
- Preferred experience or certification in project management, process improvement, or knowledge management, or a willingness to obtain such credentials.

Skills:

- Proficiency in pricing software and financial modeling tools.
- Strong analytical skills capable of interpreting complex financial data.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Strong leadership, managerial, and organizational communication skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Abilities:

- Highly organized and self-driven, capable of managing time efficiently across multiple projects and proposals.
- Proven ability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
- Adaptability and flexibility to maintain effectiveness during change.
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to prioritize competing deadlines.
- Ability to work flexible/extended hours when necessary and possess a "do whatever it takes" attitude.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented individual.

Salary Information:

- The salary range for New Jersey applicants is $100,000 - $125,000.

Location/Hybrid/Remote Work:

- This position may be based in any office location within the law firm's footprint, offering flexibility, including the opportunity to work under a hybrid/remote model.
