In this role, the Conflicts Analyst will be responsible for reviewing conflict reports and identifying potential conflicts of interest related to new business intake. This position will also involve coordinating with various departments and providing training to attorneys and staff on the conflicts of interest process and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze new business conflict reports
- Coordinate with Business Intake Manager, Loss Prevention Counsel, and Firm Management
- Understand legal and business conflicts and related ethical rules
- Conduct data analysis and research
- Document process and maintain records
- Communicate with attorneys and capture institutional knowledge
- Maintain conflicts database
- Provide training to attorneys and staff
- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a conflicts analyst role in a law firm or professional services environment
- Strong understanding of legal and business conflicts and related ethical rules
- Excellent data analysis and research skills
- Proficiency in using various databases
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
