Job Title: Litigation Paralegal (Construction Defect)

Job Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with propounding and responding to discovery, including interrogatories, requests for admissions, requests for production, subpoenas, and preparing deposition binders.
- Prepare motions, including any supporting documents and exhibits, and compile hearing binders.
- Manage trial preparation, which includes coordination of witnesses and travel arrangements, preparation of trial exhibits, charts, trial notebooks, subpoenas, and page lines.
- Review, analyze, and organize document production by opposing parties.
- Independently obtain, review, and organize medical records and medical billings.
- Calculate damages, including medical expenses, lost wages, and property damage.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team with individuals of varying levels of experience.
- Maintain routine communications with clients, experts, and attorneys regarding case status and preparation.

Education and Experience Information:
- Paralegal certification is required.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal is necessary.
- Experience in the state of California is highly encouraged.
- A solid understanding of civil litigation, including state and federal deadlines and rules, is essential.
- High proficiency in MS Suite, specifically Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat, is required.
- The ability to think and act independently with minimal supervision is important.
- Candidates should be articulate, organized, and possess excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines are essential.
- Professional appearance and demeanor are required.

Salary Information:
- The pay range for this position is - USD per hour.
