- Driving record with five points or more within the past five years
- Driving under the influence conviction within the past five years
- Combination of three motor vehicle violations/license suspensions within the last five years (excluding parking violations)

Office: Legal Affairs

- Interns responsible for a variety of tasks within several units
- Excellent writing skills and professional communication expected
- Legal research and summarization of court decisions
- Work closely with Administrative Hearings Unit and Immigration Unit

Administrative Hearings Unit:

- Processes written statewide requests for administrative appeals
- Ensures appeals are administered according to applicable statute and administrative code
- Assist in reviewing cases for appeal eligibility and writing Final Agency Decisions

Immigration Unit:

- Assists Department staff with immigration issues
- Provides education to local offices and other Department employees
- Networks with other agencies and stakeholders to provide access to immigration services for clients
