Job Title: Information Governance Compliance Coordinator

Job Responsibilities:
The Information Governance Compliance Coordinator at the law firm is a vital member of the Information Governance & Privacy department. This role is centered around providing exemplary customer service and ensuring compliance with records standards and procedures. The primary responsibilities include:

- Communicating with attorneys and business professionals about lawyer mobility records issues, such as client file transfers for both active and inactive electronic client records.
- Managing the intake and transfer of electronic documents and emails for lateral attorneys, including uploading these materials into iManage and downloading them from iManage.
- Coordinating the transfer and destruction of print records in accordance with firm policy and procedures.
- Assisting in developing records retention procedures and ensuring compliance with records standards.
- Reviewing requests for new print folders and coordinating the approval process for optional electronic root folders.
- Handling data entry, data analysis, implementation of legal holds, and managing document collection, production, and destruction related to court orders.
- Fielding and resolving questions or concerns related to the department's policies and procedures regarding lawyer mobility, retention, and standards.
- Assisting in the development of training materials, procedure manuals, and guidelines.
- Liaising between attorneys, paralegals, secretaries, administration, and other records business professionals to ensure equitable and efficient central records services.
- Encouraging team behaviors to achieve organizational goals and performing other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Information:
Required:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, iManage, and other firm applications, achieved after orientation.
- Availability to work overtime as needed.
- A minimum of 2 years of direct applicable experience, which may include records experience, technology experience, or a combination thereof.
- Previous experience with complex electronic records management systems.
- Participation in a 7x24 on-call rotation is required.

Preferred:
- A Bachelor’s degree.
- Previous experience in a large multi-office law firm.
- Experience coordinating work with others and implementing new technologies.
- Knowledge of SQL programming.

Salary Information:
The law firm offers a competitive compensation and excellent benefits package, committed to fair and equitable employment practices. The expected hourly pay range for this full-time position, based on a 40-hour work week, is - , translating to an annual salary of $62, - $90,. The final offer amount is dependent on geographic location, applicable experience, and the candidate's skillset.
