Job Title: Legal Nurse Consultant
Department: Paralegal
Experience: RN Degree and work experience in a clinical setting
Location: Brunswick, GA

Main Responsibilities:

- Review and analyze medical records and other pertinent documents related to case medical facts
- Identify and obtain additional sources for medical records
- Organize and prepare medical chronologies
- Research and integrate medical and nursing literature for case support
- Assist attorneys with preparation of trial exhibits
- Identify, locate, and evaluate potential experts
- Maintain expert database and research opposing counsel's experts
- Schedule meetings and depositions
- Perform clerical duties as needed
- Enter billable time into computer on a daily basis
- Meet minimum billing requirement of 140 hours per month
- Perform non-billable functions as assigned
- Ensure all functions are in accordance with client guidelines
- Remain flexible and open to additional tasks as directed by management team

Requirements:

- from an accredited school or college
- Work experience in a clinical setting
- Certification in paralegal or legal nurse consulting
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and attention to detail skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Typing speed of 45 wpm and proficiency in computer and office equipment
- Willingness to work more than 40 hours per week as needed
- Ability to sit, bend, stoop, and use computer keyboard for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for offsite work
