Law Firm is seeking an experienced Probate Litigation Associate to join their team. This position will focus on probate, guardianship and trust litigation, as well as related administration of estates, trusts and guardianships. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in litigation and a strong understanding of probate and fiduciary litigation. Candidates with a background in family law may also be considered for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in probate, guardianship and trust litigation cases
- Handle hearings independently
- Take and defend depositions
- Draft and respond to discovery requests
- Conduct legal research and provide analysis
- Attend trials and assist with trial preparation
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in litigation
- Knowledge of probate and fiduciary litigation is a plus
- Background in family law is a plus
- Excellent research and writing skills
- Ability to handle hearings independently
- Experience with depositions and discovery
- Trial experience is a plus
