Litigation Legal Assistant Armstrong Teasdale is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant to join its Boston office. The Litigation Legal Assistant provides administrative assistance to all litigation timekeepers and works within a team environment to ensure uninterrupted workflow in service. Job Responsibilities: Draft, review and proofread all documents and correspondence produced, check for proper formatting, spelling and grammatical errors, as well as ensuring that all signature pages, attachments, exhibits or enclosures are accurate and complete before distribution Execute electronic court filings and download court pleadings Maintain client files (both paper and electronic), organize and file documents in designated order, and complete electronic scanning Conduct accounting tasks, including processing expenses, reimbursements, invoices, pre-bills, and entering time into the Firm's time and billing system, reviewing of billing statements, and editing same for preparation of final billing Support trial preparation to include maintaining and tracking case chronology Manage upkeep of multiple calendars and scheduling systems Perform digital transcription tasks May assist in preparing discovery production and schedule depositions Perform conflict checks, draft engagement letters in connection with file opening, and complete the file opening process Coordinate and make travel arrangements Effectively track and manage CLE reporting Effectively communicate information and updates on projects with clients and timekeepers Job Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent 2-4 years office experience including MS Office Suite Legal office experience including general knowledge of litigation practices and electronic court filings (preferred) Salary and Benefits: Armstrong Teasdale offers competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package.
