Paralegal - Litigation Department

Introduction:

Wicker Smith, a prestigious law firm located in Jacksonville, FL, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paralegal to join our Litigation Department. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a minimum of 2 years of legal experience to join a dynamic and growing team.

Responsibilities:

Retrieve records and prepare documents for litigation cases
File documents with the court
Work with experts and prepare for trial
Maintain a high level of organization and communication within a team-driven environment
Utilize case management software to manage and track case files
Work independently and manage time effectively
Type at least 45 wpm and proficient in Microsoft Office

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of legal experience
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook
Experience with ProLaw Case Management Software is a plus
Excellent organizational, communication, and writing skills
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Able to lift up to 35 lbs
