JOB TITLE: Intake Patent Paralegal Level II DEPARTMENT: Legal Services EXPERIENCE: Minimum of three to six (3-6) years of US and foreign patent prosecution H1: Wolf Greenfield: Intake Patent Paralegal Level II Legal Services 3-6 Years Experience H2: Essential Functions Qualifications Salary Information Work Environment SUMMARY: Wolf Greenfield, a prestigious law firm, is seeking a Patent Paralegal (Intake) to assist attorneys with intake of new patent files and other prosecution related projects. This individual will closely manage deadlines and work collaboratively with attorneys, clients, and other staff to ensure timely and accurate intake of necessary materials. The position has a billable goal of 1000 hours and offers a salary range of $90,700 - $104,500 annually. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Coordinate with attorney, client, and/or prior counsel regarding items needed for intake process - Manage intakes including preparation of master lists, dashboard maintenance, and mapping of patent families - Troubleshoot missing items and work with prior counsel and foreign associates to obtain necessary information - Prepare and file documents for US and foreign matters - Correspond with foreign associates regarding file transfers - Assist in patent prosecution functional areas, including managing dockets and preparing correspondence - Work collaboratively with others and lead projects as needed - Manage additional prosecution related projects, such as title perfection and claims related projects QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor's degree preferred - 3-6 years of US and foreign patent prosecution experience - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications - Strong communication skills, both oral and written - Excellent time management and organizational skills - Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures - Ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of an organization - Highly adaptable and able to work well under pressure - Punctual and able to meet deadlines - Ability to maintain confidentiality - Adherence to established work schedule with flexibility for overtime requests WORK ENVIRONMENT: This position will be located in one of Wolf Greenfield's offices in Boston, New York, or Washington DC.
