Summary

Law Firm is looking for an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to join their team. The individual will provide support for the firm’s cases from presuit through trial. Duties will include daily interaction with existing and potential clients, ordering medical records, obtaining documents to support injury and/or liability positions, negotiating case settlements, preparing legal documents, conducting legal research and factual investigation, drafting pleadings and motions, preparing trial binders and exhibits, assisting with case settlements, and other tasks as requested by the attorney.

Qualifications for this position include an Associate degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience, 2+ years of presuit or litigation experience, completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program, and experience in Personal Injury, WC, Premises, or other injury related practice areas. In addition, the individual must possess the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage workload with a positive attitude and minimal supervision, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and proficient in calendaring depositions, mediations, and hearings.
