Duties:

• Research and analyze legal issues related to employee benefits law.
• Draft legal memoranda, opinions, and other written documents.
• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients regarding employee benefits matters.
• Assist in the design, implementation, and administration of employee benefit plans.
• Review plan documents, summary plan descriptions, and other plan materials.
• Represent clients in administrative proceedings before regulatory agencies.
• Assist in compliance efforts with relevant laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on case strategy and client matters.
• Stay updated on developments and trends in employee benefits law.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of legal experience in employee benefits law.
• Strong interest in employee benefits law.
• Excellent writing, communication, and legal analysis skills.

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Admission to the Kansas State Bar or ability to become admitted promptly.
