Seeking Labor And Employee Benefits Associate with 1-6 years’ experience in union-side labor law and/or employee benefits law. Candidate will perform both labor and employee benefits work. On the labor side, will include advising and representing international, intermediate and local unions on everything from organizing new contractors and members to administering the organization’s internal affairs, policies and programs. Experience practicing before the NLRB and its Regions will have immediate opportunities to help workers win the right to union representation in organizing campaigns. On the employee benefits side, work will include assisting benefit plan personnel, trustees and unions with the full range of issues faced by all types of employee benefit plans, including drafting and review of plan documents, service provider contracts and participant communications. Will represent clients in litigation, arbitrations and other venues. Must hvae strong academic background, superior analytic, research, and writing skills, and the ability to work well with clients and fellow attorneys.
