Stoel Rives LLP, a leading . corporate and litigation law firm, is seeking a skilled Litigation Practice Assistant to join our Seattle office. This position provides essential legal and administrative support to attorneys in the Litigation practice group. We offer a competitive salary range of $57,000 - $95,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and file legal documents, including pleadings, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Handle word processing tasks, such as transcription, formatting, and document comparison
- Manage timekeeping and billing processes, including entering time entries, reviewing prebills and invoices, and resolving billing issues
- Communicate with clients and outside counsel, arrange travel, and coordinate client holiday cards and gifts
- Work collaboratively with the practice assistant team and provide coverage during times of need
- Manage file and document management tasks, such as scanning, organizing, and retrieving documents
- Assist with other administrative tasks, including maintaining calendars, scheduling meetings, and complying with firm policies

Essential Capabilities:

- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent interpersonal and client service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and ability to learn and effectively use firm-specific software

Technical Knowledge:

- Typing speed of 50+ wpm with accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Familiarity with law firm software, such as iManage, Adobe Acrobat, and WestlawNext, preferred

Physical/Mental Capabilities:

- Ability to operate office equipment, read and comprehend notes and instructions, and type for extended periods of time
- Accuracy in proofreading and recording phone messages
- Ability to carry files and documents for short distances

Education and Experience:

- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- At least 3 years of experience in legal administrative support, preferably in litigation law
- Certificate or college degree in administrative assistant, legal assistant/secretary, or paralegal program, or related field, may substitute for one year of work experience
- Familiarity with local state and federal court procedures and electronic filing preferred
- Basic understanding of accounting preferred

Normal Work Hours:

- Non-exempt position eligible for overtime compensation
- Possibility of remote work flexibility after 60 days of employment
- Regular office hours of 8:30 . to 5:00 ., Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime as needed
