Summary:

Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP is seeking a Sr. Litigation Paralegal to join their team in Miami. This full-time position requires a Bachelor's degree and strong organizational skills. The paralegal will assist attorneys in all phases of discovery and trial preparation, including managing information using various databases and applications, organizing documents and coordinating productions, and collaborating with attorneys in preparation for depositions and hearings. The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter who can thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and possess exceptional communication skills.

Responsibilities:

- Assist attorneys in civil litigation matters, including discovery and trial preparation
- Manage information using various firm databases and applications
- Organize documents and coordinate document productions
- Review documents for responsiveness to requests and maintain privilege logs
- Create and maintain internal case databases and run searches
- Collaborate with attorneys in preparation for depositions and hearings
- Assist with preparation of briefs, memoranda, and exhibits
- Liaise and coordinate with Firm Resources and outside agencies and vendors
- Prepare for and attend trials, including assisting with trial set-up and logistics, marking exhibits, and taking notes
- Serve as liaison between trial attorneys and in-house staff
- Communicate confidently and graciously with associates, partners, and other staff members

- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe
- Proactive self-starter with the ability to prioritize and juggle multiple assignments
- Team player who can thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills
