Role and Responsibilities:
As a Litigation Paralegal in our Miami office, you will work closely with multiple attorneys to provide litigation support. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

- Assisting with preparation of pleadings and discovery in federal and state court civil matters and arbitration proceedings
- Analyzing, reviewing and organizing privileged documents and data from materials produced during discovery
- Coordinating document production and responses to discovery questions
- Preparing deposition and record subpoenas, coordinating production of third-party records, and summarizing records
- Assisting with trial preparation, including management of trial exhibits and other trial-related tasks
- Preparing federal and state administration filings
- Cite-checking and shepardizing, as well as providing assistance with motion preparation
- Conducting research using tools such as Lexis and Pacer
- Drafting investigative reports and summarizing documents, such as witness interview summaries and deposition or medical record summaries
- Staying up-to-date on developments, procedures, and rules in the areas of law practiced by the office
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed

Skills and Requirements:
- High school degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of law firm (paralegal) litigation experience preferred
- Experience in labor and employment law preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and project management skills
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, and other office tools, including document management platforms
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and work within deadlines
- Knowledge of state and court agency rules
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
