Law Firm seeks Bilingual Litigation Paralegal in Tampa, Florida with 2+ years of experience in Personal Injury, WC, Premises, or other injury related practice areas. The ideal candidate will have completed a nationally accredited paralegal program and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. This person must also be highly organized and able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Job Title:

Bilingual Litigation Paralegal

Experience Information:

2+ years in Personal Injury, WC, Premises, or other injury related practice areas
Completion of nationally accredited paralegal program

Department:

Responsibilities Include:

Preparing legal documents
E-filing court documents
Communicating with clients, court, counsel, and others
Conducting legal research and factual investigation
Preparing discovery documents and responses
Drafting and serving summons
Coordinating and summarizing depositions
Preparing trial binders and exhibits
Drafting pleadings, motions, and appellate documents
Performing administrative duties
Maintaining pleadings and discovery indexes
Organizing exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices
Aiding attorney with interrogatories and other discovery requests
Gathering relevant information from various sources
Liaising between trial teams and internal/external third parties
Witness preparation
Assisting with case settlements
Other tasks as requested by the attorney

Qualifications:

Associate degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience
2+ years of litigation experience
Completion of nationally accredited paralegal program (preferred)
Experience in Personal Injury, WC, Premises, or other injury related practice areas (preferred)
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage workload with minimal supervision
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in calendaring depositions, mediations, and hearings
Knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules and procedures, and practices
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Extensive computer and database expertise, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and a typing speed of at least 35 wpm
