Job Description:

- Assist with all aspects of patent research, application preparation, and submission
- Submit patent applications and respond to communications from USPTO and foreign patent offices
- Provide direct client support throughout the patent process
- Manage patent portfolios with minimal attorney oversight
- Guide and train junior patent professionals
- Provide support in patent litigation matters and business transactions
- Hybrid work schedule available

Requirements:

- 4-7 years of patent agent experience
- Passed Patent Bar Exam and registered to practice before USPTO
- Advanced scientific degree (., .) or Bachelor's Degree with relevant experience
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to interpret client needs and take appropriate action
- Advanced ability to identify and provide information to others
- Ability to develop relationships with clients and maintain working relationships
- Ability to prioritize workload and mentor junior agents
- Familiarity with patent litigation and in-depth understanding of patentability and procedures
- Ability to conduct and evaluate complex patent and literature searches
- In-depth knowledge of all stages of patent lifecycle
- Ability to effectively interact with clients throughout the patent process

Salary Information:

- Chicago, IL: $130,769 to $199,529
- Washington, DC: $136,454 to $208,204
- Boston, MA: $136,454 to $208,204
- Los Angeles, CA: $136,454 to $208,204
- San Francisco, CA: $142,140 to $216,879
