Corporate Transactional Paralegal: Supporting the Legal Needs of Clients at a Leading Law Firm in Portland, OR

Stoel Rives LLP is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Transactional Paralegal to join our team in Portland, OR. This is a key position within our firm, working closely with our attorneys and clients to provide top-notch legal services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate transactional law, including Mergers and Acquisitions and Project Finance Transactions, and a minimum of 10 years of experience in a paralegal role. This is a non-exempt position with opportunities for growth and a competitive salary range of $83,000 - $139,000.

Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting and preparing legal documents for various corporate transactions, including Operating Agreements, Bylaws, Certificates of Incorporation, and more.
- Conducting legal research and analysis to support attorneys in providing high-quality legal services to clients.
- Managing and maintaining corporate records and minute books.
- Communicating regularly with attorneys and clients to provide updates on project status and deadlines.
- Coordinating and organizing due diligence documentation and distributing draft documents to opposing counsel and clients.
- Developing and maintaining positive relationships with clients and outside vendors.
- Providing training and supervision to junior paralegals and incoming associates.

Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Paralegal certificate and a minimum of 10 years of experience, with a focus on project finance preferred.
- Strong knowledge of corporate transactional law, including Mergers and Acquisitions and Project Finance Transactions.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Willingness to work longer hours during peak workload periods.
