Job Title: Securities Associate / Of Counsel Salary: Competitive salary based on experience Location: Multiple locations available Experience: Minimum 4+ years of experience with federal and state securities laws Responsibilities: • Draft periodic reports under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 • Advise public companies on SEC reporting obligations • Handle SEC reporting obligations for directors, officers, and shareholders • Advise public clients on corporate governance and stock exchange listing requirements • Conduct research and analysis related to securities laws • Work collaboratively with clients and colleagues • Assume direct responsibility for client matters • Stay updated on changes in securities laws and regulations Qualifications: • Minimum 4+ years of experience with federal and state securities laws • Strong knowledge of Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and Securities Act of 1933 • Experience with SEC reporting obligations for directors, officers, and shareholders • Familiarity with corporate governance and stock exchange listing requirements • Excellent writing, research, and analytical skills • Strong academic credentials • Admitted and in good standing with local state bar or eligible to waive in Barnes & Thornburg LLP is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity in our workplace.
