Overview:
Eversheds Sutherland (US) LLP, a leading global law firm, is seeking a skilled Patent Legal Secretary to join their talented team in Atlanta, GA. This is a full-time position with a hybrid work model, requiring on-site presence three days a week. The salary for this role is competitive and commensurate with experience and location, with a range of $55,000 - $85,000.

Responsibilities:
- Assist partners, associates, and patent agents in all aspects of US and foreign patent prosecution
- Prepare and file patent applications and prosecution documents via electronic filing systems
- Handle time entry and support billing tasks
- Coordinate schedules and update calendars
- Arrange travel logistics and process expense reports
- Prepare and process new matter openings and conflicts checks
- Monitor and manage the patent prosecution docket for assigned timekeepers
- Act as a point of contact for status inquiries and general questions
- Prepare and maintain official correspondence using firm standards and procedures
- Send client reminders and reporting filings
- Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or Associate degree with relevant experience
- 3-5 years of formal patent prosecution experience
- Strong working knowledge of US and international patent law
- Familiarity with patent docketing databases
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- Strong writing and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Ability to anticipate and resolve problems and issues
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to quickly learn firm technology
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
- Tact, courtesy, and diplomacy in all interpersonal dealings
