As a Personal Injury Paralegal, you will work closely with our talented attorneys providing support for our cases from presuit through trial. You will be responsible for daily interaction with existing and potential clients, ordering medical records from providers, obtaining documents necessary to support injury and/or liability positions, negotiating case settlements with insurance carriers, preparing legal documents, conducting legal research and factual investigation, drafting and serving summons, preparing trial binders and exhibits, performing administrative duties, maintaining pleadings and discovery indexes, and aiding attorneys with interrogatories and other discovery requests.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have an associate degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience, 2+ years of presuit or litigation experience, completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program, experience in Personal Injury, WC, Premises, or other injury related practice areas, the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage workload with a positive attitude and minimal supervision, excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficient in calendaring depositions, mediations, and hearings, highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment, extensive computer and database expertise, and the ability to type no less than 35 wpm.
