Law Firm seeks Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Counsel/Partner

Law Firm is looking for an experienced attorney to join its Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation Practice Group. The ideal candidate will be counsel or partner level, and have strong experience providing advice to businesses on all aspects of health and welfare plans. This position is available in our Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati, Atlanta, or Washington, DC offices, and remote candidates will be considered on a case by case basis.

Job Responsibilities:
• Provide advice to businesses on all aspects of health and welfare plans, including wrap plans, cafeteria plans and flexible benefits arrangements
• Advise on Affordable Care Act, COBRA, HIPAA, Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act, TiC and CAA 21 compliance
• Draft and negotiate service provider agreements
• Resolve issues related to the administration of health and welfare plans
• Provide proactive advice to employers on a wide range of compliance and litigation issues affecting health and welfare employee benefit plans

Qualifications:
• Counsel or partner level attorney
• Strong experience providing advice to businesses on all aspects of health and welfare plans
• Experience providing advice to employers on a wide range of compliance and litigation issues affecting health and welfare employee benefit plans
• Ability to draft and negotiate service provider agreements
