Job Title: Trademark Paralegal
Experience: 2+ years as a Trademark Paralegal with both . and foreign trademark prosecution

Job Description:

Fish & Richardson is looking for an experienced Trademark Paralegal to support our Trademark team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and filing documents required for the prosecution and maintenance of . trademarks and Madrid-based filings with WIPO. They will also communicate with clients and foreign associates, handle special projects, and conduct preliminary trademark searches.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and file documents for . trademarks using the . PTO's ETEAS filing system
- Prepare and file documents for Madrid-based filings with WIPO
- Communicate with clients regarding filing requirements and reviewing evidence of use for trademark documents
- Correspond with foreign associates on trademark prosecution, opposition, cancellation, and maintenance
- Handle special projects such as copyright applications, customs recordation, UDRP actions, and client website review and domain name registration

Requirements:

- 2+ years' experience as a Trademark Paralegal with both . and foreign trademark prosecution
- Familiarity with TTAB proceedings, copyright filings, and UDRP actions
- Knowledge of worldwide trademark laws and procedures, including WIPO filings
- Trained in conducting preliminary trademark searches
- Ability to commute to the office 3 days per month
