Advice to law firm management:
I would give the younger associates opportunities to contribute. I think this would reduce the amount of work for everyone. As for the departments being in other offices, a more streamlined communication channel would be nice.
Pros:
I found all of the other associates great to work with. Many of them are very knowledgeable and are willing to lend a helping hand. I also was exposed to many interesting cases and team work on them was top notch.
Cons:
The hours can be very long. I found myself working with some very demanding clients which increased the hours. The other issue is the other departments are spread out, so all dealings with them will be remotely. I found this hard to deal with at times.

Advice to law firm management:
I would like to see upper management start to take care of the negative people that I have to work with. I would also like to see them put in a set of guidelines that would reduce the amount of idle chatter that is allowed.
Pros:
We have some very knowledgeable attorneys here that are always willing to lend you a hand when you need it. Our staff is also very diverse and we have members that specialize in all kinds of different fields.
Cons:
The politics in the office can be pretty bad. I feel as though the politics and somewhat hostile nature of the office can be counter conducive to me getting work done.
