The law office management team needs to focus on offering opportunities to staff and employees to grow and advance in their careers.

The law firm is composed of a group of staff and employees which are impressive people to work with. The firm offers the staff and employees social events on Thursdays and Fridays.

The law firm falls short in terms of management offering room to advance in career and growth. The amount of hours work can cause tension since the work must be met on the deadline.

I would like to see upper management start to take care of the negative people that I have to work with. I would also like to see them put in a set of guidelines that would reduce the amount of idle chatter that is allowed.

We have some very knowledgeable attorneys here that are always willing to lend you a hand when you need it. Our staff is also very diverse and we have members that specialize in all kinds of different fields.

The politics in the office can be pretty bad. I feel as though the politics and somewhat hostile nature of the office can be counter conducive to me getting work done.

Pro bono

The firm is committed to making pro bono work an integral part of its professional culture, and it strongly encourages all of its legal professionals to take on pro bono matters as an essential part of their professional lives. The firm backs this commitment by providing its attorneys with full hours credit for approved pro bono matters, and by assigning a principal-level attorney in each of its U.S. offices with the task of seeking out and publicizing local pro bono opportunities.

Every year the firm's attorneys contribute a considerable number of pro bono hours to serve the legal needs of individuals and nonprofit organizations, benefiting the communities where they live and work. Last year Fish lawyers contributed on an average 30 hours per attorney towards pro bono work and this year, 2012, they are likely to outpace that number.
