Junior Paralegal - Investment Funds (June 2024 Start)

We are currently seeking a Junior Paralegal to join our team and support our litigation group. This is a two-year position and an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in attending law school to gain prior legal experience. The position will require extensive hours and travel, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from case material compilation to participation at trial.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist paralegals and attorneys with all stages of the litigation process, including case inception, discovery, trial, and post-trial/appellate stages
- Prepare and organize electronic and paper legal documents
- Conduct manual and electronic searches using internal and external databases
- Communicate effectively with team members and other colleagues
- Adhere to firm policies and procedures, including working efficiently and meeting billable hour expectations
- Willingness to work overtime and travel as needed

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree required
- Prior legal experience preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines
- Flexibility to work long hours and travel extensively
