Law Firm is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Patent Agent in the field of Biological Sciences to join our team in our Atlanta, Boston, or Pittsburgh office. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Draft and prosecute patent applications for a variety of cutting-edge technologies in the life sciences field, including gene editing, cellular therapies, antibody-based therapeutics, and molecular diagnostics.
- Conduct patent validity, non-infringement, and freedom-to-operate analyses.
- Provide support for IP due diligences, patent litigations, and post-grant proceedings (IPR, PGR, interferences).
- Handle other IP matters related to the life sciences industry.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of substantive patent experience, with 3-5 years preferred.
- Advanced degree in the biological sciences, such as a . or . with several years of industry experience.
- Registered to practice before the . Patent and Trademark Office.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong academic background.
- Team player with a desire for significant responsibility and client interaction.
