Job Title: Patent Associate/Patent Agent
Location: Hybrid Remote, Boston, MA

Greenberg Traurig, a global law firm, is seeking a Patent Associate/Patent Agent to join their team in Boston, MA. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in software and electronics IP, with a focus on health and medicine. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field, and be familiar with all aspects of . and foreign patent prosecution. Prior firm experience and registration with the USPTO is required, and industry work experience and patent litigation experience are a plus.

Responsibilities:
- Provide patent prosecution services in software and electronics IP across various industries
- Conduct research and analysis to support patent applications
- Communicate with clients and colleagues regarding patent prosecution matters
- Maintain knowledge of current patent laws and regulations
- Assist with patent litigation matters as needed

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 2 years of experience for Patent Agent, ideal associate candidates will have 2-5 years of experience
- Familiarity with software and electronics is required, experience with health and medicine is a plus
- Prior firm experience and registration with the USPTO is required
- Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and oral
- Commitment to providing exceptional client service
- Creative and strategic approach to patent prosecution
