Employment Law Paralegal
The candidate will be conducting client intakes; Preparing state and federal pleadings; Filing court documents electronically. Preparing and monitoring the service of complaints; Drafting and filing EEOC Charges and responses; Drafting various correspondence and legal documents; Drafting interrogatories, document requests, and notices of deposition; Work with clients and assist in responding to discovery requests; Compile, organizing and bates stamp discovery responses; Drafting and responding to subpoenas; Conducting legal research on various employment issues; Calendaring and calculating deadlines and due dates, follow up with clients/attorneys as necessary; Perform administrative tasks as requested. An associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies or degree in another field with a certificate in Paralegal Studies is required. Should have 3+ years of experience in Employment Law, and must be a self-starter who can work independently. Must be able to maintain excellent relations/communications with clients and have time management skills.
