Overview:

- Foley & Lardner has a new opportunity for a Director, Paralegals
- Responsible for managing all aspects of the firm's paraprofessional program across all three law departments
- Drive firm-wide strategic direction and management for recruiting, training, performance management, and compensation of paraprofessionals

Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain firm-wide paraprofessional program for all three law departments
- Analyze and recommend changes to existing programs and staffing structures
- Implement strategic approaches for process improvement and client service
- Develop hiring criteria and advancement frameworks for consistency
- Support professional development through onboarding, training, and knowledge management initiatives
- Proactively address attorney and client support needs and create workflow coverage plans
- Collaborate with legal departments and finance on paraprofessional billing rates
- Prepare and monitor budget for paraprofessional program

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree required
- Minimum of 10 years of legal and/or paraprofessional experience with 5 years of managerial experience
- Experience working with paraprofessionals in multiple practice areas preferred

Salary Information:

- Expected range for this Los Angeles or New York based position is $171,800 - $280,100
- Actual salary offered will be determined based on factors such as education, experience, and internal pay equity at Foley
