This role will work closely with a lead attorney and litigation paralegal, and will be responsible for various administrative and organizational duties. The ideal candidate will have experience in personal injury or medical malpractice, as well as strong communication and multitasking skills. Responsibilities:

- Scheduling calendar hearings and deadlines, organizing case files, and managing logistics
- Maintaining pleadings and discovery indexes
- Organizing exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices
- Implementing and improving upon administrative processes for more efficient workflow
- Collecting, examining, and organizing evidence and other legal documents for attorney review and case preparation
- Drafting and proofreading correspondence and legal documents
- Researching regulations, laws, and legal articles
- Managing client billing and resolving billing issues
- Communicating with clients and witnesses
- Managing and organizing documents in paper or electronic filing systems
- Providing general administrative assistance

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or GED
- Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies, Bachelor’s Degree, or a Paralegal Certificate (preferred)
- At least 2 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant in a law firm or corporate legal department
- Experience in Personal Injury, Workers Compensation, Premises, First Party or other injury related practice areas (preferred)
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
