Law Firm Seeks Mid-Level Labor & Employment Associate in San Francisco

Salary Information:

- Annual base salary range: $225,000 to $355,000
- Actual pay may be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law
- Full-time employees eligible for discretionary bonus, health insurance, short-term and long-term disability, dental and vision care, life insurance, 401K, vacation and sick time, and employee assistance program
- Additional voluntary programs available, such as accident insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and pet insurance
- Commuter and transit programs may also be available in certain markets

Job Title:

- Labor & Employment Associate (Mid-Level)

Experience Information:

- 3rd – 5th year Associate
- Solid academic performance in law school
- Strong interpersonal, writing, and analytical skills
- Attention to detail
- Desire and initiative to "take ownership" over work and career
- Good standing with the CA State Bar

Job Requirements:

- Represent employers on both a class and individual basis
- Experience with wage and hour compliance, employment discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, leaves of absence, employee accommodations, personnel policies, and employment agreements
- Traditional labor (labor management) skills not necessary, but a plus

- Represent employers on both a class and individual basis with respect to labor and employment issues
- Provide strategic legal advice on all matters concerning the employment relationship
- Trial labor and employment cases to verdict
- Assist with corporate transactions, collective bargaining agreements, and labor arbitrations
- Help employers lead and manage in ways that best fit their cultures
