Salary Information: The salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience. Job Title: Commercial Real Estate Paralegal Experience: Minimum of 10-15 years in real estate and/or business legal assistant or paralegal experience in a law firm or similar environment is required. Duties and Responsibilities: - Support a group of attorneys within the practice group through the performance of complex administrative and substantive legal duties. - Assist with miscellaneous projects assigned by practice group management and/or attorneys in the practice group. - Maintain attorneys’ calendars and schedule conferences and meetings. - Serve as primary staff member interfacing with clients by phone, email, and for meetings. - Monitor and manage all aspects of complex commercial real estate and corporate transactions. - Manage transaction due diligence activities and maintain large transaction files. - Assist in the preparation of real estate documents, exhibits, and schedules. - Prepare closing statements, disbursement statements, signature pages, and final documents for closings. - Analyze title documents, legal descriptions, and surveys. - Prepare and maintain deal checklists for assigned transactions. - Organize corporate offering and buy/sell documents. - Prepare and manage filings with the SEC and other agencies. - Perform UCC financing statement and municipal searches. - Assist with land use and zoning matters. - Meet position billing requirements and deadlines.
