Law Firm Seeking Technical Specialist in Life Sciences

- Highly reputable global law firm with offices across North America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East

Responsibilities:

- Conduct research, sequence management, and searching
- Investigate inventorship issues
- Evaluate patentability, novelty, and non-obviousness of invention disclosures
- Analyze scientific and technical documents, including patent documents
- Draft patent applications and respond to office actions
- Assist with prosecution and appeals to PTAB
- Meet with clients to discuss inventions and potential patent claims
- Prepare clearance analyses

Requirements:

- Advanced degree (Masters or PhD) in a biological field (Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, etc.)
- At least 2 years of experience in life sciences
- Strong writing and research abilities
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
