Job Description: The main duties of this position include conducting prior art database searches for patentability and freedom to operate analyses, analyzing patent and scientific papers and documents to assist patent attorneys, and drafting patent applications and responses to office actions. The ideal candidate will have superb technical, written, and verbal communication skills in English and possess broad scientific knowledge in material science and/or chemical engineering. An advanced degree is a plus. The individual must also be a registered US patent agent or be eligible to sit for the USPTO registration exam and meet the requirements for registration. Salary Information: The expected annual pay range for this position is $125,000 - $205,000. The final offer amount will depend on geographic location, applicable experience, and skillset of the candidate.
