This is a great opportunity for a candidate with 2-3 years of experience in executive compensation and employee benefits matters to further their career in a prestigious law firm setting.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct legal research and analysis in Employee Benefits law
- Perform due diligence in M&A transactions
- Draft employee benefit and executive compensation plans and arrangements
- Communicate and correspond with colleagues, clients, and other counsel
- Use library reference materials and/or electronic resource tools
- Establish and maintain effective working relations with others
- Organize and prioritize workload
- Understand and follow written and oral directions
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, WORD, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat

Requirements:

- JD degree from an accredited law school
- Bachelor’s degree
- Admitted to practice law in the state of New York
- 2-3 years of experience in executive compensation and employee benefits matters
- Experience with executive compensation plans and programs, employment agreements, and securities law aspects of compensation and benefits
- Experience supporting large M&A transactions
