As a Litigation Paralegal at Morgan & Morgan, you will play a crucial role in supporting our attorneys before, during, and after trials. We are looking for someone with at least 2 years of litigation experience and a strong understanding of legal procedures and documentation.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and complaints
- E-file court documents in state and federal courts
- Communicate with clients, court, counsel, and other parties involved in the case
- Conduct legal research and factual investigations
- Prepare discovery documents, interrogatories, and responses
- Draft and serve summons
- Coordinate and summarize depositions
- Prepare trial binders and exhibits
- Draft pleadings, motions, and appellate documents and file them with the court
- Perform administrative duties, such as calendaring hearings and deadlines, organizing case files, and managing logistics
- Maintain pleadings and discovery indexes
- Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices
- Assist attorneys with interrogatories and other discovery requests
- Gather relevant information from various sources
- Liaise between trial teams and internal/external third parties
- Prepare witnesses for trial
- Assist with case settlements
- Perform other tasks as requested by the attorney

Qualifications:

- 2+ years of litigation experience (required)
- Completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program (preferred)
- Experience in Personal Injury, WC, Premises, or other injury-related practice areas (preferred)
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage workload with a positive attitude and minimal supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficient in calendaring depositions, mediations, and hearings
- Knowledge of legal procedures, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules, and procedures
- Highly organized with the ability to handle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and typing speed of at least 35 wpm
