We are currently seeking a talented and service-focused Patent Specialist to join our Intellectual Property team in one of our five office locations: Indianapolis, Chicago, Minneapolis, Philadelphia, or Fort Wayne. As a Patent Specialist at Faegre Drinker, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of individuals who are dedicated to providing a high level of service to our clients. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting all aspects of portfolio management, including filing US, PCT, and foreign regional patent applications, managing dockets, and assisting with patent filing strategies and due diligence. You will also have the opportunity to participate in special projects and other duties as assigned. To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively in a virtual environment. You must also be able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. A two-year associates degree and/or a paralegal certificate is required, along with experience in patent prosecution or a similar position. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of USPTO procedures is also necessary.
