The law firm is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role will provide crucial support to attorneys and other legal professionals in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have experience as a Legal Administrative Assistant and possess a strong understanding of legal terminology, processes, and timelines. This is a full-time position with a hybrid work schedule, allowing for both in-office and remote work days. Key Responsibilities: E-filing and serving in state, federal, and appellate courts Managing court dates and case deadlines Drafting fee agreements and legal documents Opening files and performing conflict checks Coordinating deposition and trial logistics Assisting with business development and social media efforts Providing back-up support to other legal assistants Completing administrative tasks, such as scheduling meetings and answering phone calls Requirements: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred Previous experience as a Legal Administrative Assistant required Experience in Intellectual Property and Technology desired, but not required Proficiency in Microsoft Office, document management systems, and timekeeping software Physical Demands: Work is primarily performed in a professional office environment Regular verbal and written communication with colleagues and clients Use of office equipment, such as computers, printers, and telephones Occasional light lifting of files and office supplies Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time At our law firm, we are committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all individuals regardless of race, color, religion, gender, gender identity/expression, sexual orientation, age, national origin, disability, or any other status protected by federal, state, or local law.
