# Senior Paralegal - DLA Piper
DLA Piper is in search of a highly talented Senior Paralegal to join their team. This position is remote and relocation is available according to the Firm's policy. The Senior Paralegal will be a critical part of DLA Piper’s client service teams, working side by side with lawyers, co-counsel and clients on an array of substantive client matters.

## Minimum Requirements
-
- 6 years’ Paralegal experience supporting a Finance practice group in a law firm or professional services environment
- Experience managing data rooms and matter files on document management systems
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle large volumes of work

## Preferred Requirements
- Blue Sky experience
- Experience preparing and filing a variety of corporate legal documents (Articles of Incorporation/Organization, amendments, state qualifications, consents, merger documents, closing books, electronic closing sets, initial drafts or certificates, short-form closing deliverables, and filing annual reports)
- Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Large firm experience

## Job Description
The Senior Paralegal will perform a range of substantive case, matter, or entity-related duties by supporting efforts between attorneys, clients, outside legal counsel, opposing legal counsel, and other parties. This will include developing, monitoring, and updating closing and other books and other documents. Additionally, the Senior Paralegal will be responsible for researching, preparing, and filing legal UCC Financing Statements, Articles of Incorporation/Organization, annual reports, managing data rooms, and matter files, coordinating execution and delivery of documentation to other parties’ counsel, lenders, governmental agencies, etc., including all closing documentation. The Senior Paralegal will also develop, monitor, and update closing and other checklists.

## Physical Demands, Work Environment, and Other Requirements
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.

## Compensation
In accordance with New York City, California, and Washington’s Pay Transparency Law, the pay range for this position, if hired to work in New York City, California or Washington is $95k-$130k. The compensation offered to a candidate selected for employment will be dependent upon various factors, including the candidate’s geographic market, skills, educational and professional background, experience and overall qualifications.
