Litigation Paralegal- Robinson Bradshaw Law Firm
Salary: Competitive salary based on experience
Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of litigation paralegal experience
Location: Charlotte/Triangle, NC
Overall Objective of the Position:
• Facilitate and coordinate the litigation process from initiation of the action through the discovery process, trial and appeal
• Coordinate and communicate with Court personnel while maintaining a positive and productive relationship with same
• Electronically file pleadings with various courts and maintain knowledge of applicable court rules and e-filing policies
• Maintain electronic files and document management using Relativity, CaseMap/TextMap/TimeMap, and docketing software
• Prepare and proofread legal documents and ensure compliance with applicable rules
• Assist with document productions and other routine filings
• Conduct research and assist with special projects
• Trial and hearing preparation
• Post-judgment collection work
• Appellate work
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate from an ABA accredited program required
• Minimum of 3-5 years of litigation paralegal experience
• Experience with bankruptcy preferred
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work well with a variety of professionals
• Advanced knowledge of state and federal court rules in North Carolina
• Proficiency with legal software and research tools
• Ability to manage multiple assignments in a deadline driven environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to strategize and offer solutions
• Ownership of work product and ability to work as part of a team
