Nixon Peabody, a top-ranked law firm, is seeking a Patent Litigation Counsel to join our Intellectual Property Practice Group. If you have at least ten years of patent litigation experience and a strong background in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:
- Prepare complex patent litigation cases for trial, from initiation to closing arguments and through appeal
- Draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, and correspondence for use in state and federal court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings
- Draft and respond to discovery requests, including infringement and invalidity claim charts
- Conduct depositions and prepare for trial, including witness preparation and examination
- Supervise and train junior associates
Salary Information:
- Annual salary ranges from $350,000 in Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Washington DC, and New York City
- Additional contingent compensation may be available based on factors such as work performance, location, experience, education, and qualifications
Requirements:
- At least ten years of patent litigation experience, with a focus on drafting and responding to pleadings, preparing infringement and invalidity claim charts, and conducting expert discovery
- USPTO admission and an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science preferred
- Strong academic credentials and excellent communication skills
