The Law Firm is seeking an experienced Attorney in the field of Labor and Employment to join their team. This position offers the opportunity to work in either Detroit, Troy, Grand Rapids or Ann Arbor, depending on the candidate's preference.
The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in employment related litigation and client counseling. They should possess the ability to handle litigation and other client matters independently or largely independently. Additionally, having some level of portable business is preferred.
Key responsibilities for this role include handling employment litigation, preparing legal briefs and other pleadings, determining litigation strategy, and responding to EEOC and MDCR charges. The candidate will also be expected to prepare trial materials and handle or assist at pretrial, trial, and post-trial proceedings.
Candidates should have excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and be a graduate of an accredited law school. They must also be admitted to the Michigan State Bar, or eligible to promptly become admitted.
