Summer Associate Program
James & Hoffman offers summer positions to second-year law students as well as third-year students going on to judicial clerkships. Summer associates can expect to take on a variety of responsibilities dictated by our ongoing litigation needs, frequently encompassing research and writing for various phases of trial and appellate litigation, as well as administrative actions and arbitration. When possible, summer associates are given opportunities to attend client intake sessions, depositions, arbitrations, and court appearances, as well as meetings and events in the Washington, D.C. area labor community.
