The candidates will have 2+ years of experience in the defense handling of workersâ€™ compensation claims, including experience in handling court appearances, depositions, and all aspects of file handling. With 12 offices throughout the state, will handle files within their local venues. The Oakland office primarily handles WCAB appearances in Oakland and San Francisco, and is a collegial and stimulating environment.
The candidate will be responsible for handling a caseload of pending workersâ€™ compensation cases as well as making special appearances at depositions, trials and hearings before the Workersâ€™ Compensation Appeals Board. Associate Attorney - Workers' Compensation
The candidate must have 1-3 years of experience to join the workers' compensation defense department. Should have experience in case handling and depositions. Trial experience, knowledge of current Workers' Compensation Case Law and Labor Code, as well as experience before the WCAB are essential.
