The Hanover is an insurance company that has been in business for over 170 years. They are currently seeking a Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney who resides in Northern California. This is a remote-based position with in-person Board appearances as necessary. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of litigation experience, a valid driver's license, and be admitted to the bar and licensed to practice law in the assigned jurisdictions.

Position Overview:

- Investigate and manage Workers' Compensation cases
- Meet with clients and claims professionals to resolve cases
- Develop theories and affirmative defenses
- Engage in routine motion practice, discovery, and research
- Handle depositions, hearings, conferences, and trials
- Travel to boards as required

What You Need to Apply:

- Minimum 4 years of litigation experience
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Admitted to the bar and licensed to practice law
- Strong advocacy and communication skills
- Excellent organization and prioritization abilities
