Job Title: Labor and Employment Associate (Workplace Class Action Practice - East Coast offices)
Job Responsibilities:
- Support the workplace class action practice within the Employment, Labor, Benefits, and Immigration practice group at the law firm.
- Focus on complex employment litigation, particularly in defending wage and hour class and collective action lawsuits.
- Conduct meaningful witness interviews and take and defend depositions.
- Provide trial experience, which is considered advantageous.
- Counsel employers on federal and state employment law compliance.
- Draft workplace policies for clients.
- Assist clients with employment training programs.
Education and Experience Information:
- The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of substantive experience in the relevant field.
- Candidates should have superior academic and writing credentials.
- Bar admission is required in the jurisdiction of practice.
- Experience in complex employment litigation and defending class action lawsuits is essential.
- Additional experience in trial settings, counseling on employment law, and drafting policies is advantageous.
Salary Information:
- The target annual pay range for this role in Philadelphia is $275,000-335,000.
- Actual pay will vary depending on factors such as relevant experience, skill-set, current business needs, and market factors.
- The compensation range is one component of the law firm's total compensation package, which may also include discretionary bonuses, incentive packages, and firm-sponsored benefit programs.
