Job Title: Litigation Attorney
Job Responsibilities:
- Work with a collegial team of lawyers on complex insurance and coverage litigation matters.
- Handle and manage litigation files from inception through trial.
- Address current cases involving state-wide UM coverage issues in state and federal courts of Florida.
- Prepare written discovery demands and responses, along with discovery motions.
- Participate in deposition preparation and both taking and defending witness depositions.
- Draft extensive dispositive motions.
- Draft reports and provide file analysis to clients, engaging in direct client contact.
- Attend court appearances for procedural motions, dispositive motions, and trials.
- Minimal travel may be required.
- Hybrid work hours require a minimum of 3 days a week in the office and 2 days a week remotely.
Education and Experience Information:
- The candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience to join the litigation practice.
