Job Title: Attorney Equity Derivatives

Job Description:
- Analyze complex legal issues and their impact on Bank of America's Equity Derivatives businesses
- Provide advice on new and existing products and services related to OTC derivatives, structured products, actively managed strategies, and cross-asset proprietary indices
- Coordinate with outside legal counsel on related projects
- Collaborate with Legal Department colleagues and clients in the ., EMEA, and APR regions on various aspects of Equity Derivatives businesses
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret relevant laws, rules, and regulations
- Provide advisory services to the organization
- Draft and write legal documents
- Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex legal issues
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Solve problems and manage issues effectively

- Understand legal structures and forms

- Manage relationships with stakeholders

Required Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor degree
- Admission to the New York Bar or ability to obtain admission
- 4+ years of experience at a law firm and/or in-house at a financial company
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with ISDA-based OTC equity derivatives, structured products, proprietary indices, and related legal and regulatory issues
- Knowledge of securities and OTC derivatives laws and rules, including the 1933 Act, 1934 Act, Investment Company Act, Investment Advisers Act, Dodd-Frank, FINRA rules, and IOSCO Principles for Benchmarks
- Familiarity with the . bank regulatory structure, including the Bank Holding Company Act, National Bank Act, and respective regulators
- Strong communication skills
- Experience negotiating agreements related to equity derivatives businesses
Minimum Education Requirement: Juris Doctor
Work Schedule: 1st shift (United States of America), 40 hours per week
